A friend of ours took some great pictures of Davao, Philippines during his recent travels and was kind enough to share them with us. There are several of Faith Academy - Davao, where Leah will be teaching music lessons, and a couple of MICA, where I will be teaching computer and business courses.

These are great, John. Man, I wish we could get together. I have albums full of pictures from while we were in Davao. The problem is that this was all before the digital camera era, so I'm too lazy to scan them all in!
These pictures bring back memories, indeed. I was in high school before MICA, so I was homeschooling, and helped teach art at FAD. My dad was the bible teacher during the second year of MICA (they were still just in a large house back then). If you look at old FAD yearbooks and the yearbooks of the first two years of MICA you'll see my brothers and dad in them.
My dad also did computer support at our mission's office as well.
I think it's great you're going to Davao. If it's anything close to the way it was when my family was there, you'll love it. Beats the pants off Manila.
